I am a Texas-born singer, actress, and dancer currently earning my BFA in Musical Theatre at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I am drawn to stories that explore love, heartbreak, and the challenges of life that shape who we are, along with the humor and hope that carry us through those moments. When approaching these themes, I try to handle them with honesty and care, aiming to show them as they truly are while also reminding my audiences of the beautiful moments life offers. Having been someone who has occasionally felt isolated from this world, the theatre has been a place where I've found reconnection. Stepping into a character’s humanity helps me understand people more deeply. I believe that telling stories with empathy, both the heavy moments and the light ones, can make us a little better at caring for each other. I am motivated by the challenge of finding truth in a character and bringing that truth forward in a way that feels organic and relatable. I also want my audiences to laugh and simply have fun in the theater, lifting their spirits in a way only a performance can. An artist is never truly done growing, and I want nothing more than to continue exploring my artistic expression with all of my projects in Musical Theatre. My goal is simple: to keep the art of storytelling alive and to make audiences feel something real, even if just for a moment. If someone leaves a performance with a new perspective or feeling understood, that’s the kind of theatre I want to be part of.
